Suffolk is also very proud of the many people from the county that have participated at previous Olympic  and Paralympic Games, each with their own unique memories and experiences.

The Suffolk Lap of Honour project is a 4-year initiative to create a multimedia archive preserving the heritage of the people of Suffolk that have been involved with the Olympic and Paralympic Games not only as competitors but also as officials, coaches and volunteers.
