Sir Keith Mills, Deputy Chairman London 2012 with schoolchildren

Get Set is the official London 2012 education programme for schools and colleges across the UK. It aims to inspire a generation of young people to make a positive change in their own lives, in their schools and/or in their communities.

The programme is based on the Olympic and Paralympic Values of:- Excellence, friendship, respect, courage, determination, inspiration and equality.

Not every young person in the UK can attend an Olympic or Paralympic event in 2012, but they can all participate in Get Set and access some of the magic that comes from the Games.

Schools that demonstrate a commitment to the Olympic and Paralympic values are invited to join the Get Set Network and receive rewards and recognition for their 2012 inspired activity.
